I am finally 18!

so, my birthday was on bonfire night and i turned 18 eeeeeeeee!
I had such a good birthday weekend which concluded in me never wanting to drink alcohol ever again.
I had four nights of partying and i still am recovering from it , i was not a pleasant site at sixth form on Monday morning at all, but it was definitely worth it. Sophie lived at mine for the weekend, which was lovely.I love that my birthday is on bonfire night, i love fireworks and toffee apples and i love the smell of a good bonfire. I also love the fact you have to wrap up really warm and snuggly to go and watch the fireworks.

On Thursday night i went into town with 4 of my bestest girlies and had so much fun.
I wore when of my favourite ever dresses.... Its a black fitted dress from All Saints <3, i wore it with a pair of ridiculously high topshop black sakura heels and a gorgeous ruffle bag also from topshop.

Friday night me and Sophie stopped at My Brothers who live in the centre of Nottingham.
I went out for a meal with the Family then went out in nottingham with everyone, it was really good.
I wore another of my favourite dresses here to, its just a simple black one from topshop but i just love how it has a really low back, i think it looks so nice.

Jacks Photo♥

I absolutely adore this picture.

It was taken by one of my oldest and bestest friends, Jack. He is really into photography and art and that sort of thing and i think he is extremely talented in that area. This photo was taken with an old black and white film camera that he picked up for a fiver from a charity shop and i am in love with the sort of picture's it takes.
I love this picture as it captures the whole essence of the day it was taken. A chilly, fun, spontaneous day with two of my best friends. I also love how it looks, kind of vintage and old and how it captures the season.

Well done jacky! Check out his blog...  www.jackevans3.tumblr.com

The month of October ♥

I must say that the month of October is not my favourite month of the year, but this October hasn't really been to bad. Its had it's ups and downs but generally it's been a fairly decent month. I like it when its gets a little colder and the leaves start falling off the trees and make it feel like autumn, i also like it when it begins to get darker earlier, it gives me an excuse to snuggle up in my joggers and hoodie watch films and drink tea, but no dought ill get bored of that pretty soon and want summer back.
So what significant things have happened in October ? ...

♥ I passed my driving test! yay! It took me five times to pass but i did it!

♥ Me and my boyfriend of 3 years broke up :(, but you have to keep your chin up don't you.

♥ I went to Alton Towers scarefest! spooky!

♥ I drove on the motorway for the first time to Sheffield, it was scary.

♥ I spent a lovely lovely weekend in Leeds with my friend lewis.

♥ I have been to numerous 18th gatherings/parties.

♥ I went to Coventry for a few days with Michaela, which was amazing.

♥ And i learnt how to catch trains without getting on the wrong ones.

I spent all my wages in topshop or on food!

Here are just a few snaps that some up my month...

Top 4 fast hair fix's.

001. The messy bun.
This is so quick and easy and all you need is a booble and maybe a few hair grips.
literally just scape you hair up with you hand and put a bobble in it, then grip the fly away bits into place      and hey presto you have it and it doesn't even look that bad.
This is definitely a i got up at half eight an had to be a sixth form for 9 hair do.

002. the simple pony tail
A ponytail is pretty straight forward get a bobble put it in ...done!
they are particularly useful too, in this case i had curled my hair the night before then slept on it so it was fairly crazy so i just put it up. A pony can be classy or casual, it looks good in all situations.
003. The middle parting.
Very fashionable 'in' right now, that's that really.
Part it in the middle and tousle it a little bit.

004. Half up half down
Perfect for a formal even or and everyday trip.
Take the top layers of your hair and pin them at the back, done!
I always do this when my fringe seems to be doing a thing of its own, i love it.

Personally i hate it when every hair is perfectly in place, i'm into messy, tousled, teased hair.

A pair of perfect shoes ♥

Possibly the most perfect pair of heels ( that are within my budget) ever!

Topshop-£62

I fell in love with these beauties the minute i layed eyes on them.
high skyscraper heel? yes
black go with everything? yes
legs look longer? yes
cant walk in them? yes

They are everything that a heel should be!
I cant walk in them so they are definitely a 'stand still and look pretty' kind of shoe.
If only i didn't work in Topshop my bank account would be a lot happier.

The Charity Shop in Hockley!

To say i know Nottingham like the back off my hand , i have never come across this place before.
The charity shop is basically well, a charity shop but rather than selling just general mish mash like most of them this one sells the cutest little vintage treasures.
The shop supports a charity called the Aegis trust which prevents crime against humanity. Its only a tiny shop with is situated in Hockley near to most of the more well known vintage/charity shops in Nottingham.
Its shares a doorway with oxfam ( which is also decent for the odd item or two). The Charity Shop is definatley one of those little shops that i am going to keep on going back to , im so happy to have discovered it. :).

So this is what i got on my first visit .....

brown leather bag - £4.50
big brown leather bowler bag - £7.00

A lovely weekend in Leeds!

So, i went to Leeds for a few nights last weekend and i loved it
Its such a nice place and everyone is so friendly and people actually smile at you in the street.
The city itself is so cute and extremely good for shopping, there's a lovely little arcade type thing called Victoria quarter  which is majorly adorable. And there's so many  little boutiques and individual shops that are well worth a look in. I spent far too much on food, drink and random little pieces, really did treat myself.

I initially went to Leeds to go to the Leeds met university open day ( which i loved) but then my friend invited me to stay with him for a few nights so obviously i took that offer straight up. It was so nice to have a weekend away and see Leeds properly and to see my friend as i hadn't seen him in forever. We also went to Wagamama's .. possibly my favourite restaurant ever at the moment, ahh heaven.

The weekend made me come to the conclusion that I WANT TO THERE FOR UNI!!!!
I deffo want to do PR at Leeds and hopefully it would lead me to the perfect student experience.

I am in love with this ...

£95- Topshop
I have a major major crush on this cape, its simply gorgeous.
Firstly its a cape, secondly its camel therefore goes with absolutely anything and thirdly it looks amazingly snuggly and warm and just the sort of thing you would want to put on, on a cold winters morning.
I am in love and seeing as pay day is only a week away this cape is a potential contender for my wages.

Blog Virgin

Blogging’s a funny thing, don’t you think?
Its like broadcasting your life on the internet almost…
Sharing all your thoughts, advice, personal experiences on a web page so openly without a second thought, its weird.
On the other hand blogging lets you express yourself, share your thoughts and memories a little like a diary.

I am a total blog virgin,
I was scared of .. people judging, people thinking what i would say is wrong until i realised nothing is wrong, well unless its factual.
There isn’t really such a thing as an incorrect opinion, or a wrong sense of fashion.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion , everyone is allowed to dress that way they want and everyone should be allowed to be the person they want to be.

so hello to the world of blogging….
